The Historic town of Beaumaris on the Menai Straits is approximatley 3 miles away and offers several interesting attractions for all the family. Here you can experience the exhileration of a pleasure cruise around Puffin Island to see the seals, puffins and cormorants, or take a journey back in time on the battlements of Beaumaris Castle, the Victorian Gaol or the Old Court House. Beaumaris is also a centre for sailing and fishing and has many attractive shops and excellent restaurants. Directions to the Chalet Dinmor from Beaumaris :- Drive along the main street through Beaumaris past the castle. Continue for about 11/2 miles and turn right to Penmon. Follow the road for another 11/2 miles to signpost, Penmon left Penmon Point right. Turn left to Penmon, go up the hill to a grassy island, turn right. Go through Penmon village and Dinmor is the last house on the right after a sharp left hand bend.
